Lawrence County Association for Responsible Care (LCARC) is a nonprofit Agency located in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
We are Lawrence County’s largest provider of community and residential services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism.
Our Agency is committed to providing quality care; through advocacy, support, education and services we aim to promote the individual gifts in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We believe all people must have the opportunity to recognize and choose their own goals.
Our services are based on the certainty that adults, regardless of ability, have the right to make personal choices concerning where they live, how they learn, where they work, and how their time is spent.
We recognize the important role of families in making choices and decisions.

To do this, we focus on individualized planning and flexible support while respecting the dignity and rights of each individual in our care.
We assist with waiver enrollment, coordination of medical and psychological assessments, and are able to make recommendations appropriate for the needs, goals and wants of the individual and their family.
